So here’s the thing, I don’t really have that much passion when it comes to writing and stuff, but I do love to yap. One problem though, I don’t think starting a rant channel on YouTube would be very practical. It would just literally me talking about my random interests in front of a camera by myself…. So so cringe.
Recently though, I somehow regained my motivation to write online as my life has currently transformed pretty much entirely. I am now finally in my first semester of university! After 4 months of waiting for my SPM results and applying for uni, I’m finally here. In fact, it has actually been 3 weeks since I’ve enrolled into uni, and I want to talk about it in this post.
So the program I enrolled in is the Foundations in Computing which is a feeder program for the degree program in UNIMAS. It’ll only take 2 semesters which is equivalent to 1 year of studying. I am very grateful to be enrolled in this program as it is exactly what I had planned after my SPM exam, a short and quick program about my passion which is computing and tech!
A sneaky pic into my lecture sessions:
The first week was definitely an eye opener into the world of universities as before this I was an SMKA boy, which means the routine would be very packed and very conservative. But here, its almost entirely different. From the looser dress code, less packed schedule, way less supervision from authorities, it is pretty much the opposite of strict/conservative. To be honest, I was kind of expecting all of this but at the same time I also didn’t. But so far, the experience has been really great here. I’ve already made new friends, gotten kind of familiar with the vibe and environment, even feeling better than ever. Yet again, it is only my third week here so I still have lots to learn from this lifestyle.
A shaky, sunset(ish) photo I took outside of my campus:
I try to keep my focus into my studies and not get distracted and so far it has been doing good. I also can’t help to have fun of course, that is also very important as I am taking a different approach in my lifestyle currently, which is prioritizing self improvement. That includes, my skills in socializing, academics, physical and mental health, religion, you name it! All of this can be done as long as I don’t get carried away or take advantage of the “loose” rules here.
Anyway, I would love to write more details about my life here so far, but I also have other things to do than just writing…
Bai2….
